Challenge # 199 Decoupage

Good Morning my lovely bloggers...Carol here with our new challenge details for this weeks challenge which Dianne has set, but Dianne is needing a little me time at the moment so you have me instead.....The DT would like to send our lovely Dianne lots of hugs to help her through things at present.

Now onto the challenge which is 
DECOUPAGE 

Now this does not need to be made hard at all, the DT have come up with lots of inspiration for you all,
some have used lots of layers some just two it's up to you, as long as it has been decoupaged.

  1. Isn't decoupage pieces cut out and then covered with several coats of varnish onto a flat surface? These samples sure look like lots of layers paper piecing, popped up?

    1. Decoupage is layers sometimes you can add glossy accents to the top layer depend on finish you are after.
      Paper piercing is where you stamp your original image and then stamp again on Design papers then cut it out to put over original image, this works well on say little dresses or any clothing. Hope this has cleared it up for you.
